AK: What does it say about the state of the nation
Edited on Wed Nov-17-10 06:41 PM by RandySF
When I am relieved that the corporatist Lisa Murkowski won the Alaska Senate race? Are we really down to lesser evils anymore?

5. When she votes in lock-step with the Republicans at every single opportunity
she is not any better....Miller could not have done anything different than what Murkowski will do and has done her entire career..

3. Seriously what it says is that the state of Alaska won't be dictated by that dumbass Palin
Sure Murkowski isn't exactly a Ted Kennedy or Russ Feingold when it comes to senators. But she was someone that Sarah Palin could not stand and therefore Palin had to bring in her own endorsed candidate to unload Murkowski.

And just like here in Delaware, there are enough nutjob right-wing republicans that could beat a more moderate GOPer in a closed primaries. But overall Alaska has enough sane people to keep the stupid from being their senator.

I keep thinking if the GOP didn't give up on Alaska so early we could have won that race. McAdams was just as good as Chris Coons here in Delaware. We could have won that race.
