1. Here are mine:
http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/11/13/weekinreview/deficits-graphic.html?choices=41b105y1

Returning to Clinton era tax levels, cutting military spending, getting troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan, plus a few others. Some were just off the cuff, like I don't think capping Medicare growth is feasible, but I haven't really studied it.

Interesting page, though! You get to see the effects of your choices right away on the graph.

10. That is the downside, true.
It's a trade-off for the convenience of instant results: you have to pick from a preset list of options, which suffer from the creators' lack of vision.

Bill Maher keeps repeating this...

Listen up

-Folks at top DID pay it. When tx cut later, revenues dropped.

-Job growth then ('48 to '68) was 14%/yr. ..But tax cuts at top KILL jobs... Look at the bush cuts... Job growth 2%/yr. after bush tx cut in 2001.

Mine was 71% tax revenue, 29% budget cuts. Gotta get rid of the Estate Tax exemption, the Bush Tax Cuts for Millionaires, etc.

8. I think ours was nearly the same.
73% tax increases and 27% spending cuts.

13. Anyone know if right-wing sites are doing this too.
I mean, it's so damn easy and almost painless.

Why are people crying about the deficit again?
