New movie, 'Fair Game'
Staring Naomi Watts and Sean Penn., as Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson. Reviews seem good. I just heard about this movie a few days ago - a teaser. Being hearing impaired, I'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD. grrrr.

Thoughts anyone?

2. Tweety gushed and gushed about it on his show...
It had me dumbstruck to hear him talk about it as though it was revealing facts he had never heard before. :eyes:

Nonetheless, he had Amb. Wilson and Valerie Plame on to discuss and was simply effusive in his praise toward them and the movie.

3. Tweety sure loves to gush. Disgusting how he gushed over
Naomi Watts. Obviously he needs to get laid.

6. damnit I must have missed that show - when
was it on? Hate when I miss his show and something good happens. Hes unpredictable but, lately he's gotten a tad 'normal'. Maybe he's on meds. ;)

5. There's a review of it in USAToday today and online. The gal says,
"'Fair Game' portrait of intrigue more admirable than riveting.

But the saga feels muted even while it tries to elicit outrage.

Being out of work and enduring marital struggles makes her relatable to audiences, but the script scrimps on fleshing out the familial scenes and imbuing Plame with discernible passion about her chosen career. Her relationship strain doesn't always meld artfully with the story's larger political intrigue. Also, the omission of such major real-life players in the scandal as journalists Judith Miller and Robert Novak, who had key roles in the Plame saga, is baffling."

7. They leave out Miller and Novak!?
What the hell. Damnit, Sean - I expected more from you. :( He could have thrown his weight around to get that in or maybe there is some type of legal ramifications.

Thanks for the review sinkingfeeling. Much appreciated :)

9. If I could hear well I'd see it in the theater

I am very impatient ;) But, learning to deal with it since it started in my twenties. I still have some hearing - but, movies, tv and telephone are tough. The phone for some reason is my major nemesis. CC TV was a major breakthrough for me, I'd given up on trying to watch tv before CC because it was so frustrating.

Ok, nuf of that. ;)

13. I'm interested not just to see how the story is portrayed
but because Sean plays Joe Wilson. Sean's politcal views make me want to see it all the more. He's an excellent actor but, he's also a man with a conscious and sense of justice, which makes me really love him.

Hey Madonna, why didn't ya pass him on to me
