The truth about the privatization of Social Security
Liberals will clean up the mess, but in the meantime, Republicons will make billions off the backs of the middle class.

That's the luxury of being a Republicon. They know that Liberals can't stomach suffering regardless of who it is that suffers. They know that Liberals aren't a "You've made your bed, now you have to sleep in it" people. If someone is hurting, Liberals will want to help, even if those needing help are the very people who put the Republicons in power in the first place.

Too bad Liberals can't sell our message--"Privatize Profits and Socialize Losses"--like the Republicons can sell "Death panels." Ours is a wonderful message. It's actually a message that transcends party. If there wasn't a party attached to the message, 98% of the population would rally behind this message. But our message doesn't resonate. Why is that? It's a good message. It was a good message when we first made it. Do we give up our messaging too easily? I haven't heard this message since the TARP debate, yet it's germane here, as well. By contrast, Republicons will have "I was killed by a death panel" inscribed on their gravestones.
