Rescued brown Afghan eagle 'Mitch' settles into new home in upstate NY
Mitch the brown Afghan eagle, shot in the war and rescued by Navy Seals, was settling into his new home at an upstate bird sanctuary Tuesday.

He even made a friend, Eddie, an American bald eagle who also had been shot and cannot fly.

"They seem happy together," said a volunteer at Berkshire Bird Paradise in upstate Petersburgh.
