1. My husband & I were at the grocery store yesterday

& they had a big display of Herr Decider's confession*. We were walking through the front aisle to a register when we saw it. I was nearly mowed down by some old fart as he bee-lined straight for it. I dodged him & we kept walking. "I'd be ashamed to display that crap in my store," I said to my husband. There were two people standing at the end of one of the aisles & one of them was the store manager. Once we were in line, she approached me & asked, "Excuse me, but what has offended you?" I glanced over my shoulder toward the dispay & said, "That book by the war criminal." She explained that the store had little control over what they displayed. "I know. But what's even sadder is that anyone would want to buy & read what that liar wrote." "I agree," she said quietly.
