Mayor Bloomberg told the Wall Street Journal the latest crop of politicians are small minded, ignorant people who don't know anything of the world outside America.

"If you look at the U.S., you look at who we are electing to Congress, to the Senate, they can't read," he told the newspaper while in Hong Kong attending a summit.

"I'll bet you a bunch of these people don't have passports. We're about to start a trade war with China if we're not careful here — only because nobody knows where China is."

The outspoken mayor's blunt remarks, which are apparently aimed at the Republican party which picked up 61 House seats and six Senate seats in last week's midterm elections, offended some.

"That's a very foolish statement," Republican Ed Rollins told the Daily News.

2. You won't find it as funny when Bloomberg does his third-party run in 2012.
Are you ready for Vice President Schwarzenegger?

10. To share a favorite quote from this past week...
(Tweety, maybe?) on Joe Miller's comment about Palin being more qualified for the Presidency than Barack O'Bama, responded: Sarah Palin? More qualified than O'Bama? O'Bama had written books before he even ran for Office. Sarah Palin doesn't give any evidence she's even read one.

11. That's true and funny, but he's just as ignorant in the WSJ link
He says that Americans shouldn't mind that the Chinese took our manufacturing jobs. Specifically he was referring to solar panels made in China.

Yeah, isn't it stupid that we should expect them to be made here? These RWers first enable the idiots and then act surprised that they're idiots. How stupid does that make the enablers then?

He's just another jackass trying to play both sides. Thing is though, we liberals are NOT so stupid.

12. Just because a jackass
says the sky is Blue,
does not mean we should call it green.

In other words, even this creep gets it right for once.
