Unequal Treatment; Scarborough 2010 Political Donations in Question with Olbermann's Suspension
"More news is breaking on Keith Olbermann being "indefinitely” suspended from MSNBC without pay, on November 5th. It turns out what is good for Joe Scarbrough, is not good in return, for Mr. Olbermann.

We....wonder if network President Phil Griffin, knew about a questionable monetary policital donation of another one of the station anchors, in 2010, prior to suspending Keith Olbermann?

"Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough has given more than the previously reported donations in 2006, discussed by network co-host Rachel Maddow, during her November 5th commentary about Mr. Olbermann’s suspension. Politico Ken Vogel happened to unearth another donation of Scarborough, to a Republican candidate."

Talk about workplace discrimination...maybe Phil should have took a little more time to get all "ducks in a row" before acting. WOW, JUST WOW!

The rest of the story is here....

2. By the way....it does not end there.... Joe likes to stumps for GOP Presidential candidates too....

UPDATE @ 4:08 AM EST- Oh, and by the way, Joe Scarborough likes to travel around the country, as an MSNBC host, stumping on behalf of Republican candidates or committees. Look at this little known January 2008 story via the Dallas Morning News; on Scarborough at yet ANOTHER fundraiser with former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and Chuck Norris.

"It's unlike anything I've ever seen – and from Republicans," the Des Moines resident said via the January 2, 2008, Dallas Morning News article.
Voters may or may not elect former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee president. But say this about the man: He throws one devil of a party – especially for an ordained Southern Baptist minister running for the presidential nomination of a party more closely associated with country clubs than dance halls.

Then Mr. Huckabee showed up with a bass guitar. And a band, with MSNBC's Joe Scarborough on rhythm guitar....."

Sounds like Phil....has one fine mess on his hands, come Monday morning....

6. As I said yesterday
Someone's getting fired on Monday and I don't think it's Olbermann.

8. I miss KO's language....he and Rachel are the only 'commentators'
(don't know what to call them) on teevee with a command of the English language above a 6th grade level. I'm so accustomed to the pablum language skills of most on teevee that I find I actually have to think when listening to KO and Rachel. MSNBC really goofed on this one!

9. The claim wasn't that he's suspended for making the contributions, it was
because he didn't pass it by the boss first. Apparently, and mentioned by Rachel, Scarborough and the other commentator who contributed to Repubs that was mentioned on Friday, did pass it by the boss first. I don't agree with having to run something like this past a boss, but apparently those were the rules and apparently Joe did and Keith didn't.

10. except she said all of Joe's contributions had occured under previous management
when clearly they hadn't so I wonder if he also had approval.

11. Interesting, I didn't hear that part. I'll go back and listen again, but
I surely didn't hear anything about management change from Rachel.

14. it's there I listened very carefully
what is more interesting is presumedly she got those facts from management so if he really got permission for the 2010 contributions then why didn't management mention those when they confirmed he got permission for the old ones? Makes one wonder.
