She’s an attorney, working within the highest levels of the Federal govenment. She should know what’s illegal. She should know before she does it whether it’s legal. She should know that ignorance of the law is not an excuse for breaking the law. And she should know that batting your eyelashes at a cop is REALLY freakin’ low-rent.

4. She's a partisan hack

from a below mediocre law school. She probably doesn't even know what she did. Legal? Illegal? This wasn't even supposed to be an issue since the Repugs were supposed to keep Congress and keep their dirty little secrets in the dark.

Now she has to answer questions and the best she can do is take the Gonzo approach - I don't know, I can't remember. Add to that, the poor little victim says she didn't mean to. She got immunity for THIS????

This is exasperating. These are the twits who are in the high levels of this Adminstration - an incompetent administration that hires 'yes men' over substance.

5. Robert Scott should have done what Monica

would have in the same situation- after the second or third question said "yes or no, did you do something illegal?". If she continued to stall, bat her lashes, obfuscate in any way, inform her she could be held in contempt of Congress, which obviously she is.

6. Poor Monica, she couldn't hack American Univ Law School

give her a break, she had to go to a 4th tier Law School to get a degree. Kaplan U online wouldn't even accept her.
