Let's make a list of crazy things the Republicans plan for America
in terms of "investigations" and hearings. I hope to have a list. So if there's anything you have heard, post it.

1. well...
Here are some that are pretty safe to assume:

1) Deep Budget cuts in education, infrastructure and welfare programs including no further UE benefits.

2) Investigations into Black Panthers, BP Oil Spill, Immigration Issues, Global Warming fraud.

3) Tax Cut legislation.

4) Regulatory reform again.

6. I don't think the 14th amendment thing will happen at all
I think it's bluster on the part of mainstream Republicans, seeking to pacify the anti-immigration portion of their base. They'll raise money on it and try to get votes off of it, but won't actually do anything substantive (at least not at the federal level). You'll hear noise, but nothing real . . . at least in the next two years.

5. Here's a few
Obama was not born in America
Hawaii was not really admitted to the Union until 1968
Obama was really born in 1974
Obama only moved back to the U.S. in 1999

8. Deregulation
1. Deregulate the banking Industry.
2. Deregulate the Oil Industry, specifically offshore drilling.
3. Deregulate campaign finance, more corporate money.
4. Deregulate Insurance companies, so they can charge more, cover less and make more money.

Oh and they will start investigating Obama the minute they set foot in Washington.

10. Investigating women's uteri. The kotex Police.
In Mexico, women who have miscarriages are arrested and thrown in jail, and charged with causing abortions. It's causing a lot of problems, obviously.

Rand Paul wants a human life amendment. He wants the government out of everything except my uterus and yours too if you are a female of reproductive age.

13. You sound like Rush Limbaugh
"Rand Paul also wants to repeal the Civil Rights Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act"

That sounds like Rush Limbaugh taking things to the extreme. He only thinks that private business should be allowed to serve and not serve whomever they like. One part of the act, not the whole thing. Yeah, it sounds extreme, but it usually works out well.

For example, here in Indianapolis, we had a cookie company that decided they wouldn't make cookies for a gay rights group because "they disagreed with the message". While it may have been stupid for them to say that, the market has taken care of it. Now, that company is known as the anti-gay cookie company, and most people do not buy from them. I go into the building where its located a few times a week and I have noticed that the business has completely died for them. If you place your personal beliefs before the success of your business, you will lose. A business owner needs to realize that all customers are the same, they all pay with the same green paper with dead people on it.

But come on, its not like he would accomplish anything from this. People look at everything on the surface, and this looks terrible on the surface.

14. Right. Like Lester Maddox lost all his business when he kept African Americans out with ax handles.
Oh, wait a minute, those were his customers wielding the ax handles. :eyes:

11. Heres my short list

1.) Deregulation of anything that can be deregulated:
Big Oil
Ma Bell
Big Banking
Lowering emissions and safety standards on automobiles and heavy equipment
Deregulation of safety standards for food and drugs

2.) Abolishing funding for education and the arts.
Lenders get to screw students
Fewer grants and scholarships
Less research funding

3.) Stupid investigations
Sex scandals (if they can't dig up one they will manufacture one to frame either Obama or Biden)
Investigation of NPR for firing Juan Williams
Investigation of ABC for dumping BriteFart

4.) They will do all they can to push war with Iran.
Fake intelligence
"Gulf of Tonkin" type incidents
etc

5.) DADT and Doma are here to stay, they will soon be joined by even worse legislation.

Thanks: Obama, Kaine, Rahmbo, Reid, Blanche, Nelson, Bayh ... etc
