I needed that. Saw Rand Paul win and my heart just sank.

How can people not see what they are doing to us when they bring these nuts in to make our laws?

5. There are still blue districts in red states that can give you clues.
You have, for instance, Joe Donneley in the Indiana 2nd. He won by 37 points in 2008 and was favored (narrowly) by all the analysts I've seen. Yet he's down by 18% (with only 11% reporting). That would be really bad news.

On the other hand, Ben Chandler in the KY 6th was ranked at just about the same place on the endangered list... but leads by six with 56% reporting. That would outperform expectations and would have to be seen as good news.
