Jackboot poll tactics in Hennepin County, MN
(AP) - Hennepin County election judges have been dealing with overly aggressive vote challengers looking for fraud early Tuesday.

County Elections Manager Rachel Smith says precinct judges have had what she calls "very firm exchanges" with poll watchers who didn't seem to understand their role.

Specifically, she says they were wandering into secure areas and challenging voters for the wrong reasons. ...........(more)

2. They are not allowed to directly challenge voters
They can only challenge via paper note to election officials. Sounds like LE needs to be involved.

3. Oh come on, let's get real
"Smith says challengers may only sit behind the registration tables and may only challenge someone's right to vote based on their personal knowledge, not the voter's behavior."

They're challenging based on how people LOOK

because that's what republicans DO

12. They should be put under oath
and asked to state what they know from their personal knowledge that makes the voter ineligible. That would shut them up.

5. Yup. The poll watchers were trained to do this. If a lawsuit isn't filed against the Group
or State news doesn't bring this out, then all I can say is people are stupid and allowed this to happen.

7. I told you that there is where the republican governor ALWAYS
WINS. That is where Coleman kept making them count and recount. Because he knows they are the biggest election crooks there in the whole country. And that is why Bachmann will never loose til they redraw her district. The republicans have made up their mind that this is another election they are going to "steal" throughout the country and they are all set to do it.

And while you are at it nothing Parisian about CNN. On the front page you will see the number in big letters 218. And it says that is the number "we" need to take over the house. They are saying the republicans need to pick up 39 seats. Gee do they think they can win every single solitary seat that is republican now. So CNN is so so confident that each and every republican will be elected PLUS 39 Democrats will fall. a bunch of big old bullcrappie.

8. Isn't that in Bachmann's district?
Or is this a different district in Minneapolis?

10. Bachman is District 6, and that's to the east and north
of both major cities. Nowhere in Minneapolis or St. Paul is part of her district. Her district is an oddly-shaped one on the easter border of MN and crossing over to the north of the cities to St. Cloud.

Minneapolis and Saint Paul are just cities in Minnesota. Minnesota is a very large state. We have people who live in all sorts of places that are not Minneapolis or Saint Paul.

Thanks very much for your attention.

9. "...Executive Director Dan McGrath
says he hasn't heard of any confrontations and says his volunteers were trained in correct procedures.."

The 'correct procedures' are to disrupt voting. That is what the Ex Dir is being paid to do. Appears to be working.
