Palin on GOP Establishment, “It’s Very Sleazy”
Edited on Mon Nov-01-10 09:44 PM by Turborama
Is this battle between the narcissistic nitwit and her own party going to end up tearing Republicorp apart?

Excerpt from Faux Business Network interview...

On rumors of anti-Palin GOPers:

“Establishment bosses and advisors that try to shape a candidate and get paid to shape that candidate. It’s very sleazy. Some within the establishment don’t like the fact that I won’t back down to a good old boys club I have taken them on for 20 years and I have cleaned up corruption and I have done what the people have hired me have asked me to do, the voters, and I would continue to do that so maybe that makes some people a little uncomfortable. A lot of this has to do with control, power, money. If they know right off the bat that I believe they are sleazy and unethical and part of a machine that’s not good for the country and l wouldn’t hire them, it has to do with a frustration with that.”

3. "I have done what the people have hired me have asked me to do". She quit!
The people hired her to be the governor of Alaska and she quit with less than 2 years in office.

She quit!

'Nuff said.

8. Well to be fair
she was just some votes and an old man
from being the president.

Would you expect her to be satisfied with being a governor??

4. The voters asked her to quit?
Am I reading this word salad right? "I have done what the people have hired me have asked me to do, the voters, and I would continue to do that." That's why she resigned less than half way through her term? Or has she forgotten that she did that? She's apparently hoping everyone else forgot that.

we just asked her to be honest. That was too much for her to handle, so she bailed.

fight internally. They will start their fund raising immediately.

12. I don't think it will tear them apart...
the Republicans will fall all over themselves-some already are-to apologize for any misunderstandings. Palin holds their base in the palm of her hand-and they don't want to lose them. If they alienate her, they lose the fundies, the "smaller gov't" crowd, the very conservative crowd and a portion of the Repubs that aren't complete wingers but are either tired of the status quo or are infatuated with her. They have far too much to lose, they'd never win elections it would split the party and there isn't enough in one or the other. They're not going to risk that.

Don't kid yourself she has all the power on that side of the aisle. And she's loves all the power and adorations she gets. She's a dictator in the making. Her supporter would do ANYTHING to protect her. In their eyes she can do no wrong and she is the savior of the United States. What we saw happen at the Rand Paul debate would become the norm. She actually convinced them that quitting in the middle of her term was the best thing for them and Alaska. They're like friggin zombies. It's creepy.

27. Palin speaks like a six-year-old
No offense to six-year-olds, but we expect them to speak all disjointed and kiddie-like and when they do it, it's cute.

When a vacuum-packed grown-up speaks that way on a daily basis, it's not so cute. It's - well, it makes me wonder what's wrong with her. You know - arrested development, learning disability, something.
