Be careful what you wish for, and don't be so certain that Palin winning is impossible. That Democrats are very likely to lose the House tomorrow night is proof that we can't rely on the intelligence of the voting public, even when the Republican options seem over-the-top crazy to us, and especially in a post-Citizen's United landscape of huge anonymous corporate-backed campaign spending.

I'd much rather have Obama have a tough fight with the least bat-shit crazy, most intelligent Republican than can be found than see Palin get anywhere close to any chance to win the Presidency.
