I could tell it was big (compared to the anti-war march in October 2002) but when the Myth Busters did the "Wave" thing that was when I realized how HUGE the crowd was.
My buddy was 100 feet from us and I knew it but there was no way to get to him.
I spoke with people who drove in from Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Wisconsin

Great event. There were, of course, people trying to crowd in too much. The density was amazing- we and some people around us had spaced out room for ourselves but the people were like water they poured into any and every opening.
Amazing. Great show as shows go too. Doing two hours (after The Roots and John Legend started things off) of comedy with no breaks is a LOT of writing and takes a lot of stamina-the show got better as it went on which is very tough to do.
