1. We don't want to hear it....
First of all, all that death and stuff is really bumming people out. I mean... you've seen one soldier messed up by an IED... I mean... you've seen them all. We don't need to see all that depressing shit.

Second, we don't want to be reminded that we bought all the bullshit that got the US into the Middle East/South Asia clusterfuck. We don't want to be reminded of the fact that we got bamboozled/hornswoggled.

Third, .. oh... I forget what the 3rd one is.... a Dancing with the Stars repeat is starting. I gotta go.

3. I was reminded yesterday by a Veterans For Peace leader, that all returnees from either war
should be tested for depleted uranium.

The VA will say that its not necessary, but all should demand it.

There is more agony coming down the road.

9. You're definitely doing your part on that... and I congradulate you on your successes!
It takes a lot of work to keep up that much writing, and it is obviously good writing, or you wouldn't be getting so many of them published!

I'm feeling more solid about the vets section of my program. I hope it has some effect on peoples' thinking.

4. "Enduring Freedom"? "New Dawn"?
What a load of crap.
Our soldiers are victims of politics as are those in Afghanistan and Iraq. Such a heartbreaking shame.
As bad as the economy is, the number one issue to me is STILL the wars. End the wars first, and watch the economy of all countries involved improve (except for the masters of war like Halliburton etc.)

6. Maybe the country is opposed to the wars and that is having a negative impact on voters' feelings.
