Kucinich seat no longer safe...you can help
WHY YOU MAY WANT TO CONTRIBUTE NOW

Dear Friend,

The Cook Report has written that the seat I have held in congress for the last 14 years is no longer a safe Democratic seat.

I cannot take this election for granted.

We need immediate help to raise the funds to spend for last-minute media buys to make sure there is no question about the outcome.

Please send a contribution.

Thank you, as ever.
Dennis

Seven More Competitive House Races

Dennis Kucinich among newly vulnerable Dems.

3:48 PM, OCT 26, 2010 • BY MICHAEL WARREN • weeklystandard.com

The Cook Political Report has updated seven House races, moving all seven "Solid Democrat" races to "Likely Democrat." The list includes Frank Pallone of New Jersey, David Price of North Carolina, Peter DeFazio of Oregon, Jim Cooper of Tennessee, Lloyd Doggett of Texas, John Tierney of Massachusetts, and Dennis Kucinich of Ohio ... Kucinich's challenger, Cleveland businessman Peter Corrigan, was considered a long shot until a recent internal poll showed Corrigan within single digits of the two-time presidential candidate.

2. Perhaps instead of grandstanding every four years with quixotic presidential bids he has not the
slightest chance of winning, Dennis should spend more time attending to the needs of the constituents in his congressional district.

It's just a thought.

5. I don't know if you're in Ohio...
But a good friend of mine not only lives in Dennis' district, but is a personal friend of his.

My friend tells me that Dennis gets re-elected simply because he takes very good care of his constituency, most of which are Republicans.

10. I can't believe Dennis is in trouble.
I live in ohio 13th. Drive all ove the 10th every day. I don't know why your friend tells you it is repub land. It is not. It is a FAR FAR cry from being repub majority. Obama won this district by 20 points.

I can't believe Dennis would be in trouble at all. I have seen no polls locally that suggest this.

11. My friend is pretty smart.
He was involved in the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party for many years, and stays in touch...

Maybe he meant the 10th is a mixture of Republicans and Democrats...

But they have always supported Dennis.

7. I was against a lot of what he did during his presidential runs, but he needs our help now.

I don't really want to look up more than that but you get the picture.

I'm not sure he neglected his constituents any more than any other presidential candidate, but here's the important point:

He did eventually support Obama's health care reform, and ever since then I think we should lay off of him.

4. Um...those guys are all still gonna win by a lot.
Especially Tierney.

And just because Corrigan got his INTERNALS to show him within single digits does not make it so.
