I'm not going to sulk if we lose, or gloat if we win. Either way, there's work to be done.

They want us to be afraid, because if we are, then it'll be much more easier to fail at being diligent.

Fear is the little death, and fear is the key to destroy democracy.

We should never give them the satisfaction.

1. Losing will piss me off
if it happens you know that the orange one and his puppet Eric Cantor will be all of the tube gloating about their new massive "mandate" and just seeing that asshole smile just puts me into a really pissed off state of mind. I don't care why he's smiling I just want it wiped off his face.

5. Americans get the government that they deserve
Says a lot about us if we put the GOP back in charge after all their screw ups, doesn't it?

6. I know it
but it still pisses me off. I didn't become politically active until after the idiotic impeachment shit back in the 90s'. The smug look of superiority on the faces of assholes like Bob Barr just drove me up the fucking wall.

2. Be sure to get your Dem friends out to vote
and IMO we could break some Republican hearts. They think they have it in the bag.

Then, if there's a fine line between gloating and celebrating, I'll be sure not to cross it. :D

3. I'm not sure if I want to watch the election returns as they come in
Listening to the pundits will be tortuous. It was depressing going to bed on Election Nights 1994 and 2004 knowing that the Republicans were going to win. I don't know that this year is going to be AS BAD as, say, 1994, but certainly thinking about the Republicans taking over the House and possibly (though less likely), the Senate in January, is nauseating, which is only exaggerated by the way that the pundits and talk show hosts will almost certainly be spinning things and excoriating President Obama and the Democrats to "work with" the Republicans. :puke: :banghead:
