Are gas prices, bottled water, and starbucks coffee prices related. I think so. I can image
an oil exec paying 3.50 for a cup(plastic holder) of coffee and thinking if people are stupid enough to pay $3-4 for coffee or buy bottled water, why not $5-6 for a gal of gas.

1. I assumed you meant the shipping cost driving up retail cost

People like to buy Starbucks. Nobody likes buying gas, even if it was cheap.
