Jennifer Petkov's Kids Ordered to Live with Father

TRENTON, Mich. - A custody hearing was held for two of Jennifer Petkov's children. A Wayne County Probate Court judge ruled on an emergency order. Her eight-year-old daughter and five-year-old son from a previous relationship will now move in with their father until further notice.

Petkov made headlines a few days ago after she admitted to taunting the family of 7-year-old Kathleen Edward, who is dying from Huntington's Disease. She posted disturbing photos of Kathleen of Facebook, and her husband Scott Petkov parked a coffin on the street in front of the girl's home.

The father of Petkov's children filed for the emergency hearing right after the story broke.

7. Everyone's a tad crazy. That's no defense for cruelty to a child and family.

If it were, all child abusers would get off, since they're all mentally disturbed.

Besides losing custody of her children, I hope she had to pay tons of money in damages. She probably doesn't have it, but having a judgment against her for it prevents her from getting money down the road and not paying restitution for mental cruelty.

6. Why did I watch those videos? That little girl is so beautiful and...

so sweet-- it hurts to watch somebody use her in a stupid feud with her grandmother. At least she doesn't know what's going on.

And, of course, after all the outpourings of money and good feelings, there are always the death threats and the eggings from some of the "good citizens."

Sometimes, you just shake your head.
