Let's come up with some Halloween costume ideas(just in time for undecided voters).
I think I'm going to go dressed as "I am not a witch" Christine O'Donnell complete with witch's hat adorned by teabags, bats and toads."I'm just like you -- and if you're not voting for me, I'll turn you into a toad!"

Who else can easily be lampooned this Halloween?

Doesn't have to be a politician to make a political statement, of course. How about a bailed out Wall Street banker? An oiled BP pelican? The possibilities are endless...

2. I'm going to be either Pumpkinhead...or John Boehner
When I tried the costume on, I figured it could go either way...

4. Oh, I totally called that idea a week ago! LOL!
But I can't wear it to my work party, so I am going as a toned-down Elvira.

5. Go as a Republican
Get a witch's hat from a costume store. Hot-glue a box of teabags and a pound of 1/4" wingnuts to it. Go to Walmart and buy a cheap suit and a bright red tie. Paint your face bright orange. Then get a great big button made that says "Cut Taxes to Zero" and another that says "Repeal Obamacare."

A clown nose might be good too.

9. They have a group here in San Diego -- hysterical!
The billionaires went to a healthcare rally and thanked the tea party people for supporting them. At first the teabaggers were so dumb they thought these people were really there to support them!

7. I'm just going to do door-to-door
And berate people for giving out handouts. I'll probably wear a t-shirt with a flag on it, flag pants, a flag ball cap, and carry a sign with several misspellings in a message that is indicative that I don't understand the basic workings of government.

Unfortunately, I live in Oklahoma so I'm afraid I'll accidentally start a Halloween tea-party rally.

8. Last year I was Octomom. This year I'm gonna be a teabagger.
I have a tri-cornered hat that will have teabags hanging down from it. I have a t-shirt and a sweater, both in the flag desecrating style teabaggers prefer and I'll wear which ever one is appropriate for the weather on the night of the Halloween party I'm attending. I have misspelled signs... I haven't really thought much about it yet, so if anybody here has suggestions for things to add to my costume, they'd be appreciated.

11. LOL! That's a good one! I know that everyone at the party I'm
going to thinks like me, but I was informed yesterday that they plan to leave the party and go downtown to show off our costumes at the bars for a while. That scares me a little since I'm going as a teabagger, but I live in one of two blue corners of a big red state, so I'm hoping that there won't be any drunk and/or crazy real teabaggers out there that night.

12. Relax and don't worry
Like TlalocW, above, at worst you'll only start an accidental teabagger rally. :)

13. Yeah, you're right. I won't worry and I know I'll have fun. I'm a
CodePink'er, so I'm pretty used to conflict and people saying rude things to me in public, they're just usually not drunk when they confront me.

worn costumes. Remember all the Bush and Cheney masks?

20. Good one!
And for a hetero couple, the female can go bound and blindfolded as the kidnapping victim (for a lesbian couple, too, probably--I haven't seen any mention of AB's gender).
