Frank Holds Comfortable Lead

Rep. Barney Frank's (D-MA) personal loan of $200,000 to his congressional campaign made some think he might be in trouble for re-election, but a new WPRI poll shows Frank leading challenger Sean Bielat (R) by double-digits, 49% to 37%.

2. Incredibly good news.

3. For him to be polling under 50% is still disturbing
Barney won't lose, but this is still annoying.

5. I'm just used to seeing Barney win with 75%
....or not even have an opponent.

9. Whew!
I wasn't that worried, but it was concerning that his name was even mentioned as a potential person in trouble.
