2. They can use their lapdogs in the press to spin the news to their advantage.
Of course, they can do that now but it will be amplified if they have control of the House.

4. Could they possibly do less than we have in the last two years?
In all fairness, the main problems were in the (lack of) Senate and White House leadership.

7. Quality counts.
Not a single landmark Bill among them. The HCR we got isn't.

6. They aren't going to take the house
the Dems will fold under their loses but the Republicans aren't going to gain control. The Senate is out of the picture mainly because of Delaware.

12. I heard on the radio Rush saying that the Repubs will cooperate with the Dems
which means, Rush of course doesn't understand much about politics, that the Repubs see that their rhetoric is scaring off the middle.

9. They are Americans. They certainly wouldn't take over the House
unless they were more than willing to take responsibility for the economy. It will be a great victory for them when they lead us back to Utopia.

11. Have no fear. They won't have 60 votes in the Senate.
Nothing can be done.

13. Doing nothing underperforms expectations when you hold the purse.
They won't do much affirmatively but they can cause a lot of problems for the people most at risk if they are willing to risk wearing the black hat.
