The rightwingers are bragging about how they are having more kids..
Why do they think that there kids will be repugs? With all of the information and things that are happening in the world I wonder why they think that there children will follow their path. Usually when I hear the ones who follow their message it is because they hate some group and they have been living a sheltered life. I have heard of many of their children who have followed a different path than theirs. They are planning for generations as though it will make a difference, at the rate we are going will it even matter.

1. Apparently, they think children are property
No critical thinking skills for their children. They must obey.

2. RWs honestly believe people are robots
That is why they always want censorship on things they disagree with. They believe that if a person does not hear about a thing, such possibility will never occur to him or her. And that what they put in that person's head will stay there.

They often quote that Jesuit who said something to the effect that if you gave them a child young enough, they would mold that child's beliefs.

3. Seems there are a LOT of DU'ers who have Republican parents
so I don't get how they think they will have little republicans.

4. It will only work in their favor if they keep them stupid so they
can't think critically.

They may regret it when their kids vote to dissolve the Medicare and other safety nets because the kids learned how to be soulless from their heartless parents.

7. Wow and I hear gays are recruiting heavily in red states
Conservatives better keep an eye out by gawd. Having more kids? No wonder DNA testing is so prevalent down here in Mississippi. Little girls gotta find out who their babies daddys are. Hi honey here's your daddy, he's also your grandaddy, and I think he might be your uncle, praise the lord!

10. Can't find the video
but I recall one (may have been a short from a movie) called something like the idiot bomb or something that went on about how the birthrate of stupid people was higher than that of smart people and that this was leading to a dumbing down of the world. Anyone remember the name of this vid or have a link to it?

15. That is "Idiocracy", directed by Mike Judge.
I saw it. It was REEEEEEEEEALLY depressing! A future world of stupid people is so squalid and disgusting, I can't even imagine living in it. Our dumbed down world is already depressing enough, thank you. You've heard of sharp satire? "Idiocracy" is BLUNT satire! Not the least bit subtle or complex, it has a lot of things to say about a future society that is not too different, actually, from our society today.

12. It's not the
quantity, it's the quality. In nature...those that bear large litters are the breeders-those that bear few are the feeders. Those that prefer sheep can raise them. I am raising my wolf cub-and she is a beaut. No matter what-she will survive.

14. Or they will start losing their minds when they realize...
what the real world is really about. Maybe that is why there are some of these kids who go on shooting sprees when they realize that they can't make the world fit in to their idea of what the real world is all about.

Subscriptions of anti-depressants and mood stabilizers such as Lexapro, Wellbutrin and Depakote climb to astounding rates among late teens. Well Street and Merck cheer.

It is not a good thing to have children just because you can.
