U.S. to Let Insurers Raise Fees for Sick Children
WASHINGTON — The Obama administration, aiming to encourage health insurance companies to offer child-only policies, said Wednesday that they could charge higher premiums for coverage of children with serious medical problems, if state law allowed it.

Still another example of why a comprehensive public insurance option is so desperately needed.

Talking with Canadians a couple years ago during a trip to Montreal we didn't find one person willing to trade for what we had.
Met a lady at a bed and breakfast house who pays $50 every two week pay period and can go get medical, dental, and vision care when needed.

1. Higher premiums for those who need insurance? What happened....
...to the concept of "risk sharing"?

Oh yeah, it's all about the profits. Let the taxpayers take care of those who actually need health care.

Health insurance executives are mass murderers for profit.

...San Diego.

Daniel Vinograd DDS
alpha dental

Metal free, naturopathic, and just a great guy. He volunteers his skills to the less fortunate and really works with you on what you can afford.
Clean office, great staff, top notch!

Just had some work done and he is the best I have ever been to.

I had a great dentist in NYC, who eventually had a car accident and died very

young -- I'm in NJ now and it's the pits with doctors!!

I've never gotten to the West Coast -- and my sister lives on the WC!!

But always thought San Diego would be a great place to live!

Is it at all still affordable?
