LOS ANGELES — Can Rudy Giuliani help Meg Whitman become California's next governor?

The former New York City mayor and 2008 presidential candidate will appear with his fellow Republican in Los Angeles on Sunday, where they will talk to supporters in the San Fernando Valley.

Giuliani — who took a beating in his quest for the presidential nomination — endorsed Whitman last year. But he wasn't Whitman's favorite in the presidential race: She was an economic adviser to candidate Mitt Romney and, later, to GOP nominee John McCain.

Whitman is in a tight race with Democrat Jerry Brown.

who let 9/11 happen claiming always that 'NYC is the safest city in the world' and refusing to provide proper communications equipment to NYC FD, was and is held responsible by them, the cause of the deaths of so many NYC Firefighters.

He ignored the terror threa/t for so long, slamming anyone who raised the issue in case it might keep people from 'spending money' in the city.

By the time 9/11 happened, he was on the political trash heap, his poll ratings somewhere in the '20s. His fatal decision to put NYC's Command Center in Bldg 7 at the WTC complex, made it impossible for anyone to control the tragic events as they unfolded that day, and he, stupid moron that he is, finally realized that his critics were RIGHT after all when he tried to access the Command Center and couldn't do so, then wandered in a daze around the city looking stunned. The media took this fool, this coward, and turned him into a hero. It was beyond belief to most NYers. And he has profited hugely from it ever since. His partner in all of this is now residing in jail for corruption. The man the media called 'America's Police Chief' :eyes:. The man Bush was so excited about he sent him to Iraq, and then tried to make head of Homeland Security. What a scam it all is.

I hope by now most Americans are aware of the real Giuliani as NYers always have been. He would be the kiss of death to a NY politician except for die-hard radical righties who can never give up on their fantasies.
