That our elections are legit, we have nothing. We get what the PTB want us to have, gridlock. Our corporate masters will have us running after our tails as we slowly sink in to a morass that is their political agenda. Please watch the video and under stand that until we toss the electronic voting machines in the drink we will never have the democracy that we claim to be.

2. Hear! Hear! Thank you for spreading the word on the most important and most
black-holed news story in the modern U.S. era--the complete takeover of our vote tabulation system by private, rightwing-connected corporations, using 'TRADE SECRET' programming code to 'count' all our votes, with virtually no audit/recount controls. It gets worse. ES&S, which just bought out Diebold and has even scarier rightwing connections, now has an 80% monopoly on these election theft machines in the U.S.

Getting rid of them is still doable. This coup was perpetrated by the Anthrax Congress with a $3.9 billion e-voting boondoggle that spread these machines like a plague all over the U.S. in a very short period--2002 to 2004. (They did this in the same month as the Iraq War Resolution--Oct. '02!) While they neglected to mandate ANY audit/recount controls, they did not--I repeat, did NOT--mandate that states and countries purchase these machines. This plague was spread by means of corruption--the $3.9 billion and heavy-duty, corrupt lobbying. There is NO federal law requiring electronic voting or forbidding real vote counting, by hand, in PUBLIC view. Control of the decision on voting systems still resides at the state/local level, where ordinary people have more potential influence that we do in Washington DC. It will take a widespread citizen movement--like the voting rights movement of the 1960s--but it CAN be done. And it must be done, if we are to save our democracy.

3. There is no such thing as corruption in US politics
Thus the notion of "hackable voting machines" is conspiracy theory.

5. K&R!
What is truly disturbing is the fact that nothing has been done by any of our elected officials. The corruption or the possibility of corruption is allowed to continue unchecked.

Why is that?

Me thinks the silence speaks volumes.

6. To be truthful and admit elections can be hacked...
...is to claim that government is illegitimate.

They are the government, and they can't claim it is possible they are not rightfully seated.

So this sham has to be taken down a bit at a time, one small chunk here, one small chunk there. The facade of free, open and honest elections has to remain standing while we remodel the innards.

Been doing this for 8 years now, and change has happened. We just need everyone doing their part to make sure we accomplish the rebuilding a piece at a time. How? Begin asking questions at your local elections office.
