2. His show was unwatchable last night

His first guest (atheist guy) was terrific and I had high hopes for the show.

Then I saw the panel and that piece of shit PJ O'Rourke who never shuts up and loves the sound of his cute little jokes. Maher seems to like him for some reason but he is the ultimate asswipe IMO.

There was also some idiotic woman with a lot of inane comments which Maher didn't even try to rebut. I gave it about 10 minutes and left. My wife lasted another 5 minutes or so and finally turned it off. It may have gotten better later on but what I saw was total crap.

If there was an O'Donnell clip on I missed it.

7. O'Rourke

:puke: Years ago before I knew who the hell he was I read his book, 'Hill Rats'. Don't remember much of it now but, if I'm not mistaken it was funny. I still have it somewhere I should check it out again. Then maybe only if I'm constipated and need a boost. :evilgrin:

He looks terrible and his mind is pickeled. (hint)

8. Dawkins was great, he always is

and his timing when he called O'Donnell "spectacularly stupid" for her comment about not being able to watch monkeys in the zoo evolve before her eyes was beautifully timed. I suppose that current quote was better than any of the old tapes he had.

The New Rules were pretty good, too.

No, I still don't have HBO.

9. The global warming denial crap took up some of the time

O'Rourke isn't denying it. He's just saying we can't do anything about it so why bother. The woman said that now is not to time to address global warming issues because they should be addressed only in good economic times.
