Wisconsin people, please tell me Russ Feingold is going to prevail.
I've posted multiple requests here for DU to send him some money.
The thought that our finest might be bamped out of the game without a big fight back from this group is unthinkable to me.

Wisconsin people, I meet you here sometimes at the beach and on the trails. You seem reasonable and balanced and friendly. You've elected a hell of a good Senator for multiple terms.

Please tell me the polls are full of beans, please tell me you're working hard for Russ Feingold, that you're seeing support in your areas.

Mahalo.

ps- I know money is tight. I know everybody is asking. Please give Russ Feingold some money. http://www.russfeingold.org/

1. Our representatives are elected by those who actually show up and vote.
This is especially important in an off year election.

I've said it before--Feingold has met with thousands of people here in Wisconsin over the past nearly 18 years in hundreds of local meetings and he has helped a lot of his constituents. I don't know if these people are accurately represented in the polls. There are a good many people here in Wisconsin, Republicans included, who look upon Russ Feingold as an honest man with integrity and that goes a long way.

He is facing an opponent with deep pockets and lots of money to spend on attack ads, but Feingold may yet pull it out if Democrats get out and vote for him. Overall this is a tough year for Democratic incumbents.

2. That's like here. We have a Democratic candidate for Governor

in a neck and neck race who has spent more than a year meeting with the people all over this state. I sure do hope and pray that they come out and vote.

I was blown away to see Russ so many points behind in the recent polls. I love him, but more than that, he stands for something. He is a real American hero and we can't afford to lose him.

Hope it's going better there than it looks. I'll do everything I can. I've given twice and had to borrow that, but I feel this is one of those races that defines who we are as a country.

Are we going to let the money changers run the temple?

Not to imply that Russ is Jesus- but you read me, I'm sure.

3. Let's make sure we keep Russ.
The ONLY thing that matters at this point is getting voters to the polls on November 2nd.

You can help do that.

Volunteer down at Democratic HQ. They need people to make phone calls, knock on doors, compile lists of local events, do data entry, etc.

Help others get their early ballots in case they can't get out on election day.

Get a yard sign.

Talk to your cousin/nephew/aunt etc.

We need to focus on this or the next two years of DU will be not about how to improve the country, but about limiting damage.

thanks,

Scuba

Russ Feingold will prevail.
We love him. We will call and knock on doors and do everything in our power to get out the vote.

7. Mahina, we're working hard to keep him.
I think in the end he'll prevail. But everyone please send $ as mahina says. The other guy has corporate backing and megabucks pouring in to unseat Russ. Four votes from this household for Russ and the rest of the Dem ticket.

My husband and I will be in Kauai in January for the third time! We just love it there, and love the people. :hi:
