Chase Bank Sending College Loan information to Eighth Graders?

I'm at a loss for words.

My kid has NOT finished eighth grade and he just received an UNSOLICITED information packet from Chase Bank offering him a 40 thousand dollar loan for College.

We didn't call them for information. He's not yet in high school. I'd like to know WHERE in hell they got his information, and WHY is he receiving this before he even gets into high school?

If this isn't PREDATORY lending, I don't know WHAT is. :grr:

3. It really sounds like a case of classic stupidity. Some bozo responsible for marketing at Chase was

conned. They could probably tell you where they got the info, if they were so inclined.

Hey, my (dead) cats and dogs get credit card solicitations from those nitwits all the time.

Plenty of times, some marketing jerk will merge a list, and you'll see geezers and infants getting calls to join the military, too.
