A: They're both "off the table."

Christine O'Donnell: National Media Appearances 'Off the Table'

September 21, 2010 10:42 PM

ABC News' Devin Dwyer reports: Delaware GOP U.S. Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell broke her nearly week-long silence in the national news media Tuesday night in an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity.”

But “mama grizzly” O’Donnell, who has faced growing scrutiny over her personal finances and past statements on sexual and social values, said future network interviews were entirely “off the table.”

“I’m not going to do any more national media because Delaware is my focus and local media are my focus,” she said.

O’Donnell cancelled two scheduled appearances on Sunday morning talk shows last week to attend campaign events in Delaware. She said the decision to ignore future national media requests was based on advice from Sarah Palin.

The tea party-backed O'Donnell dealt a stunning upset to GOP establishment candidate Rep. Mike Castle in the Sept. 14 primary, sparking a frenzy of national attention on her background that has consumed her candidacy in the days since.

She told Sean Hannity that many of her provocative past statements which have resurfaced in recent days do not reflect her current outlook and are intended as a distraction for her campaign.

2. Coward.
Well, at least that means when she gets crushed in November she'll fade away unlike her clone.

3. She made the comment about taking on someone as a client

who was the father of a patient who was going to have her feeding tubes removed. She wasn't involved in the Shiavo case, was she?

She says she takes a lot of pro bono PR work, including someone now who recently donated a $50K sculpture to a church. I thought talking about clients was a no-no.

Even if she wasn't running for office, her personality rubs me the wrong way. She's always saying, then embellishing and elaborating on whatever you WANT or expect her to say. Fake! Wonder if she was a cheerleader back in school. Just strikes me as that type of personality. Definitely practiced at marketing herself and she doesn't say ANYTHING without bringing religion into it.

The impression I got was that if she kept talking she thought a halo would appear over her head and she'd sprout some wings.

4. Who bought her house, the brothers Koch?
Did the purchaser pay more than market evaluation?

Her money situation is most familiar. And interesting, from a journalistic perspective.

Regarding her "business," most non-profit local artists I know aren't moneybags or sugar daddies. They're doing their best to keep the wolf at bay. They certainly don't have the means to be the sole-client who keeps another's concern going.
