10. Obviously, that's not at all helpful.

What circle with a D?

I mean, seriously, is "what logo" such a goddamn hard question that you can't answer it in a way that actually answers it?

Not to be rude, but for fuck's sake, this is a total symptom of the inability of this country to discuss anything with anything more than ignorant soundbytes and informationless declaratives.

Why not just answer my question with an actual answer instead of further non-contentless statements?

Jesus.

If this answer is typical of what constitutes "research" and "reason" in modern day colleges (I just assume you are a college student; perhaps I am wrong? I hope not, though, because I'd hate to think that an adult offered the ignorant answer you offered) then I am even more determined to move to a country that has a populace that thinks and can reason coherently.

Fucking hell.

11. Guessing you missed the pic in my sig line.

Fucks sake offer to help a person and get blasted for it.

We were told on wed I believe to wait for a big announcement from the DLC. The big announcement turned out to be a new logo and redesigned website. Quite a bit of buzz was created for 24 hours over what turned out to be nothing.

Hope that was a bit more concise for you.

edit to add:

14. I did indeed miss the pic - I didn't know I was supposed to look it.
I tend to ignore sig pics, and so would have had absolutely no idea that the pic you made no reference to was the pic I was supposed to look at. Had I known, it would have become perfectly clear. Or had you said something like "The new Democrat logo", then I would have had some context to go look for it.

That said, sorry for blowing up on you - that was a hell of a rant, and rather excessive.

I'm just becoming increasingly frustrated in peoples' seeming inability to offer answers, speak clearly, or spend the time needed to make sure that they are offering an intelligible answer, whether it's on DU, in emails, or store clerks who grunt answers, point incoherently, or otherwise can't be bothered to help out the people they're supposed to be helping.

But then, communication is important to me, and I like to make sure that when I'm talking about something that I'm clear enough and detailed enough to know that my audience has what they need to understand my point and not get a half story or easily misinterpret it. I strive not to make assumptions about they should or should not already know, just because it's something I know.

 I admit to having prior knowledge of the Circle-D (sounds like a convenience store) brouhaha, having followed the several threads on the new logo. I understand and can empathize with your frustration at a growing lack of communication in our society. I don't think OBXHead was a contributor to that though. All is well.

20. I read them after
as I have this funny habit of reading down a page :)

But yeah, I did see your apologies
--& yes, that post was a just a bit tough--
and was going to get around (on this break, as a matter of fact) to posting they were appreciated (as least by me, which really doesn't mean too much as I admittedly injected my comment into this convo)

Peace? :hi:

It would have been cool if they'd had a contest and had people vote.
