Credo mobile.......Anyone a customer?
I keep getting their phone service material in the mail.....in which they tout their progressive politics and campaign contributions, and I must say I'm impressed by the pitch.
I was just wondering if their were any DUers who are customers, and what their experiences have been like with their phone service and customer service.

1. I am a member and so is SNN
We love Credo. If you talk to another Credo member, it doesn't cost you a penny. Also, on weekends, you can call long distance free. I must add, we did this on a special. But, we really like Credo. They are progressive.

3. I've been a customer for 3.5 years.
No service problems, good coverage here in Brooklyn. The only place where I drop calls is on my side of the living room couch. Oh well. Other than that, never had a dropped call. Customer service is fine, the 2 or 3 times I've had to call. After 2 years, I got a free upgrade from a Sanyo flip phone to a Blackberry.

And they send emails once in a while suggesting letter-writing campaigns, etc.
All in all, a good deal and you know your money isn't being used to spy on you...

4. Thanks.....I was looking at their coverage map for SE Michigan and it's deep green.

I'm really thinking I'll make the switch.

7. I've been a custormer
for at least 6 years...probably more. Have both LD and Cell phone. They are great and the 6 months of free ice cream wasn't bad either.

10. I Have Credo Long Distance
what's nice is they bill you every two months - I really don't use it much since Skype - it's so cheap and they contribute to progressive organizations, so I keep it.

Great customer service- and I had to call a lot to tweak our service plan. The last call I made, the reps computer was slow and she kept apologizing for how long it took. At the end of the call she said she's send some Ben & Jerry's coupons to make up for it.

We got 10 free B&J pints!!!

edit- they bought out my old contract for free.

The only think is they don't support the iphone.
