The REAL reason (IMO) O'Donnell canceled TV appearances
Melanie Sloane from CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington) is calling COD's misappropriation of campaign funds "common theft." They will contact the Attorney General of Delaware to file charges.

"Next week, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) will ask the Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss to open a criminal investigation into Christine O'Donnell's abuse of campaign funds. We'll also ask the Federal Election Commission to look into the matter."

MUST SEE video - she was EXPOSED - good job by Anderson Cooper:

"Anderson Cooper 360 examines just what a grifter Christine O’Donnell appears to be":

http://kaystreet.wordpress.com/2010/09/17/anderson-cooper-360-examines-just-what-a-grifter-christine-odonnell-appears-to-be/

She would get asked about her illegal activities. I believe her lawyers are scrambling and keeping her off of the airwaves lest she incriminate herself. I do not think she is at all embarrassed about her past or her views.

1. Gee, I wonder if DE Attorney General Beau Biden will go after this one

10-1 says the GOP will ask Mike Castle to take O'Donnell's place and Castle will tell them to FUCK OFF

3. Just one question
she still will remain the candidate right? No way that they can declare the primary election void at this point?

4. Not sure.............
"They still have time to run Castle if the FEC stuff sticks. she forced them to run an unelectable candidate and violated rule 1, "run an ELECTABLE CANDIDATE". I am sure the real gop power brokers are NOT happy. She cost them any chance of taking the senate."

6. That would sure throw a can of
worms into the race. They really shouldn't be allowed to run Castle at this point but if the primary votes are not yet certified that would be their opening. I wish this could have come out later, much later so she would have to be the candidate.

12. Go back and check they said they couldn't take Greene
off and he had been caught with the porn thing. So I am sure she will have to stay. If someone dies they still leave them on.

11. NO...they wouldn't let them take Allen Greene or what ever
the heck is name is ..off the ballot in South Carolina. The Election Commission said no they couldn't. So if they can't take him, they can't take her. Or if they do there should be hell to pay.

I haven't been able to find out what happens if a candidate becomes unable to run, but maybe someone else will have better luck:

19. This might be the relevant provision.
§ 3306. Supplemental certificates of nomination.

(a) Whenever it shall be determined, subsequent to the dates specified in § 3303 of this title, that a duly nominated candidate will be unable to serve if elected because of death, physical, mental or other incapacity, the state, county or city (if a municipality holds its election at the time of the general election) committee shall convene within 24 hours of said determination to authorize the filing of a supplemental certificate of nomination for a substitute candidate, or to decline to issue such a certificate. However, in the case of the death of a candidate, said committee may convene within a reasonable period of time sufficient to have the new candidate's name placed on the ballot, but in no case later than 5 days from the date of death.

(b) Such certificate, if issued, shall be delivered to the officer or officers to whom the original certificate was submitted no later than 12:00 noon of the day following that meeting at which the certificate was authorized. However, if said meeting shall occur within 5 days of the day of election, the certificate shall be delivered immediately.

15. The primary has already been held.
I think at this point that the only way to get Castle on the ballot would be to write him in. Not sure though.

16. I think a raffle is in order predicated on which comes
first -- O'Donnell's having to withdraw owing to violations of law or her being Baker Acted for being floridly psychotic.

21. She won't withdraw
Just the same as Nathan Deal, who is running for Governor of Georgia won't withdraw. He's even more corrupt than she is. Yet, he managed to garner a majority of votes in a run-off. The same goes for the ethically-challenged Nikki Haley, who's running for Governor of SC. There are enough repugs out there who will vote for them for the sole reason that they have an "R" after their names. Corruption and psychosis be damned.

18. O'Donnell Campaign Operated Without A Treasurer, Despite FEC Rules
Christine O'Donnell may have broken campaign finance regulations by operating for months at a time without a treasurer, experts say.

Her campaign committee, Friends of Christine O'Donnell, has seen three treasurers quit, and went more than a year without a designated treasurer.

Campaign committees are required by law to have a designated treasurer at all times in order to collect and spend money, according to experts. But, according to records filed with the Federal Elections Commission, she's gone through several periods with no treasurer at all, including one of more than a year.

"This is a very bad situation," said Brett Kappel, a campaign finance lawyer with Arent Fox in Washington, D.C. "It's illegal for a campaign committee to accept contributions or make expenditures unless there is a treasurer in office. ... The O'Donnell campaign reported raising and spending well over $100,000 in the first six months of 2010 alone."

The rules be damned. And evidently the country too.
