Before voting your bluedog out of office
You better check the candidates running against them. I voted to select another Dem in the Fla primary 2nd dist. After seeing a post on here where my congressman was targeted for supporting tax cuts for the 2 percent at the top, I decided to check the record of the opposition candidates (Repub and Independant). Let me tell you real briefly that my bluedog doesn't look so bad now, in spite of all his flaws.

You'd be surprised at the extreme viewpoints on the issues that are at stake now. Just saying...you better check.

4. It might have been worth an effort in the primary
But it doesn't apply to the general election for some of us, where the alternatives are teabagster clones.

7. We don't get primaries. Unless you count the blank line for a write-in.
There aren't enough Democrats to distribute across the ballot here, unfortunately.

2. You know what
heres my view point at this time, any democrat anywere is better then any republican. If the said democrat sat in his office playing modern warfare 2 all day, he'd have had a more productive and positive day then any republican could ever have.

3. The time to get rid of blue dogs & DINOs is in the primary.
In the general election you vote for the Democrat and then try again next primary if need be.

However distasteful, the worst Democrat is better than the best Republican.

6. So true.
The rubber is about to hit the road. I don't believe moderates and independants really want to travel the road these new Rethugs are ready to take us down. There are some seriously disturbed people on the rightwing now. I thought they were bad before, but now.......they are off the radar.

8. Many times, "Blue Dogs" actually vote with the party
a vast majority of the time. The problem is those key issues that they veer right on, or big votes where they want to get the face in the media and make a big stink.
