When the GOP crashes and burns in November - and I think they will - they have one person to thank
Dick Armey

Thanks, Dick. I, for one, appreciate your efforts . . . . . ya fuck.

1. Why are so many Republican assbags named Dick?
That's just a rhetorical question, of course.

3. Oh, I think Armey is joined by others: Sarah Palin, for one...
Deminted Demint, Beck and the whole Faux news stable of morons, Limbaugh of course....

But, I think a special place in hell will be reserved (at least with silent steaming) at Palin.

10. I don't know
I think they may gain some seats. Even not, they will get some turnover in their party. I don't think Armey's goals is to take back congress or not take it back. I think his goal is to finish off the old fiscal conservative from the Republican party and replace them with the new very low information representatives. People that have no ability to govern. These people will be perfect fodder for the lobbyist that Armey now works for. In that I think Armey has already done only an ok job. Remember these new candidates have lost a lot of primaries already, but for every new low information candidate that wins (and some are going to win) there is a new direct representative of lobbyists. A person that has zero ability to write or read actual legislation and no desire to actually govern the USA. In the meantime the Democratic party will once again absorb more and more Conservatives because if you are interested in governance (conservative or liberal) you run as a Democrat these days. All of which makes me think Congress will operate even worse because the Republican party is going to be much worse off after this in the long run. The eventual crash and burn might take longer than November unfortunately :(

13. He thought the republicans would go lick his boots and all
join the tea bags. Most didn't. And now he sees where he made his mistakes and it is too late. Instead of picking intelligent people who could talk in public, the tea bags led by Palin who Armey never thought they would follow picked the craziest, most ignorant and out of sky candidates. She sunk the ship. See how Rove reacted--- he is burnt up.

...of the celebration here. If these TP candidates can get nominated, they can get elected. I don't see this as a cause for celebration.

16. A few of them may be elected, but as long as the Democrats maintain control that's not a bad thng
These fools will be nothing but constant trouble for the Republican leadership, and they are not the kind of people who know how to be effective anyway. Added bonus--they will continue to spew goofy stuff that will further discredit the Republican Party in the eyes of sane America. That's about their only talent.

17. Their chances of election is a lot lower than their having won their primaries
Look at Ms Don'tTouchYourself. The voter turnout in Delaware was low. The greatest enthusiasm was among the CooCoo set. Most repubicans stayed home except for the whackadoodles.

Mike Castle is well liked in his state. As proof, he had to pull a lot of Dems to get elected in his majority Dem state. Mary MasterNoBation's win was a pure fluke; a result of low turnout. Come the general, she'll be hard pressed to get *numerically* many more votes than she did. And look at her total vote numbers. Not the percentages, but the actual number of votes. She got very damned few. In November, the repubs who vote will vote for the Dem or they'll stay home. no Dems will cross for her.

She'll go home on election night as frustrated as drinker in a dry town.
