Neocons Must Be Ecstatic
I can't believe how people are letting the GOP rebrand themselves.

It makes me sick that people really think these teabag idiots are ANY different than the Neocons who ran the country into the ground for eight years under Shrub & Co.

COME ON!!!

This whole thing is a freakin' sham!!!!!

Doesn't anyone get it?

Of course the GOP is bucking at giving this whack job Christine O'Donnell any $$$. They want people to think of these teabag baffons as a grassroots uprising, almost like a whole different party.

The media is playing right in and instead of even referring to these house plant screamers as Republicans, they're referring to them as the Tea Party.

The Tea Party is plain and simply a bunch of Neocons who highjacked the lunatic fringe sect of the Libertarian Party that figured out they had to highjack the Republican Party because very very few people vote Libertarian.

The likes of Ron Paul lit the fire, but FreedomWorks and Neocons like DICK Armey highjacked it and are funding it.

The Democratic Party better get off their high horse and call a spade a spade. They better pull back the freakin' curtain and expose these Neocons to let the country know who they're voting for.

Sarah "I quit" Palin is identified with the tea baggers and she was as much of a Tea Party politician as the man in the moon until the tea baggers ... I mean, neocons turned Tea Party recruited her.

The DNC needs to be hitting the media w/ ads featuring quitter Palin saying "How's that hopey changey thing goin' for ya," followed with with a scroll of the accomplishments the Democrats and the Administration HAVE accomplished in the face of the NO and the HELL NO neocons.

Or how about an ad w/ an obese fat cat corporate sloth as a puppeteer doing his little show with Cheney and Bush puppets. He tosses the worn out and disgraced puppets to the side temporarily disappointed, then notices these tea bag puppets to the side ... he grabs them, stabs them w/ a GOP campaign pin, and then shove 'em up into the puppet show as the crowd of Joe Six Packs cheers and hollars for more. An announcer comes on simply stating ... "Don't be fooled ... different day, same Neocons."

1. Of coarse it is a sham.
It has been for years.

There are some good people that want to make a difference, but there are alot of people that are just costing and going along with worse thoughts.

2. I really don't think the teabaggers are as smart as the neocons
Sorry. It could well be that families like the Bradleys and the Kochs have funded both, but that's in large part because when you are gardening for mutants you just MUST water and fertilize EVERY sport that looks promising.

And really, I am not asking the Bradleys and the Kochs to throw money at the democratic far right. SO I don't much give a shit.

I'd simply like to see our vineyard planted with new stock. The DLC shoot that were grafted on the old roots and so carefully tended for the past 25+ years are producing fruit that's only fit for Wal-mart brand vinegar.

3. Teabaggers are just the non rich part of the republican party
who have realized they were duped by the republicans all these years. They all thought the GOP was interested in them.

They will either have to organize or face drifting into history.

4. Teabaggers are far right Rfepublicans who have zipped their
lips and sucked it up over the last decade as they became
angrier and more frustrated with their own party. As a general
rule these members tend to be old fashioned Conservatives
with Libertarian leanings. The Neocons hijacked the party and
these Conservatives are purple with rage. Yes they are fiscally
conservative---but the Republican better be prepared when
they start fighting over the wars, trade policy. The Republican
Party has been working overtime trying to channel the anger
on Fiscal Policy. How are they going to handle these "insurgents"
when the Free Traders start pushing for trade agreements.
Teabaggers are far from dumb. Their anger is rooted in a belief
that our country is in decline. No one will let this out yet.
The fur is going to fly, I predict. Do not be surprised to
find Conservatives calling for an end to the Wars. Interesting
times lie ahead.

Our party had best get organized and work like the dickens
in the coming days. Hang on to every seat we can.

5. I'm not one bit sure calling them "neocons" is correct.
They seem far more closely aligned with the religioright. The religioright is NOT the neocons.

9. This is the dividing line. They resent the Neocons. These are
old fashioned Conservatives with Libertarian Leanings.
O'Donnell does not fit this mold. She used to be part
Of Religious Conservatives.

Pallidino NY more in keeping. Separates his morality
from his work. Has been known to send out Emails bordering
on Pornographic.

NeoCons and Teabaggers are from opposite poles.

7. "They're Completely in Control ..."
"They" are the elite and wealthy who puppet'd this country for 8 years under Shrub.

"They" are the elite and wealthy who own and control the GOP.

"They" are the elite and wealthy who have you buffalo'd.

8. All The Same
Whatever remnants of the actual "Tea Party" that are left has ZERO problem w/ the fact that Dick Armey and FreedomWorks took over their cause and put it on the radar.

Before these house plant screamers were not being heard, now they believe they have a megaphone and that they've uprooted the system.

The house plant screamers (the tea baggers) have been completely taken over and essentially no longer exist.

The Neocons that took over the GOP never walked away, they only submitted that their façade had been discovered for what it was.

So, now what? Take on a new plan? Reform the party?

Nope.

Change the façade and the faces in front of it ... "give it to Mikey, he'll eat anything."

Indeed, the same flag wavers and tobacco chewers who supposedly admitted that Shrub was bad took no time to scream, "Look over yonder, ders a horse of a diffrnt colar, we can ride him!"

This thread isn't a debate on what the tea baggers are ... it's a report that they don't exist and that their "cause" has been highjacked.

As far as a debate, we should be talking about how to communicate this. People need to know that their tea bagging heroes are nothing more than the same neocon thugs crusading w/ tea bag t-shirts.
