1. This is protesting against Neocon principles, which is all well
and good. And I wish them success. It shows up which Neoconservatism is about, but it's not quite "civil war."

3. The people who embrace discrimination are racist pure and simple
they have no mind of their own. They didn't learn any principals when they went to church, if they did. The only God they worship is Fox.

4. The title "American Civil War"
Was misleading, I thought this was a historical discussion of our recent unpleasantness with the North.

6. Still "recent" in the minds of the secesh?
Is Uncle Billy still unpopular along the route of his march from Atlanta to the sea?

7. You can't change history.
Atlanta is a great modern city in much the same way as Berlin after WWII. Of course Johnny destroyed quite a bit as he left town.

Now Savannah was pragmatic, they were waiting with a white flag and whiskey.

9. I wish I could ...
... change the SCOTUS decision in the 2000 presidential election.

Savannah was pragmatic, but Charleston SC (the seat of secession) couldn't escape the wrath of the vengeful bluecoats.

I live near Chicago but have vacationed many times in the South (the mountains of North Carolina especially) and have visited several battlefields in Virginia and elsewhere. I was very impressed by the Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond.

8. People holding up signs is not a civil war.

Unless of course, you want it to be.
