11. A post of mine from what 5 or 4 years ago is that important in your life that you have memorized
a stranger's username not to mention the post for that long? Honestly?

14. For someone to memorize a stranger's user name on an internet message board for that long
or even at all, they would have to have some kind of mental illness.

4. Your post is bizarre
If a Six Flags floods, thousands of jobs are lost. Local homes and businesses are probably also flooded. And maybe the information prevents thousands of people from going there.

6. The Six Flags in ATL flooded last fall and they showed it. Of course, it's their
HQ.

Maybe they build their parks in flood plains...

Shit, I think this deserves more coverage than 50 jerks in FL burning books...but that's just me I guess.

24. There was a plan for a park in a flood plain
on the Illinois side of St. Louis. They wanted huge tax breaks but it was finally defeated.

10. I'm cool with that
It's when the local weather guy starts yapping about weather across the country or in New Zealand that irks me. I could do our local weather in ten seconds or less without a bunch of filler.

"It will be hot as hell both today and tomorrow with a 50% chance of showers. Now back to the news."

16. The flash floods were pretty awesome around here last night.
I'm in Austin, so an hour north of Six Flags. I had to drive at midnight and saw water in places I'd never seen it before. At one point my car wound up in close to a foot of flowing water. Water was flowing out a drainage ditch and across a slope like a waterfall, and the road was underwater above the curbs. I imagine places like west San Antonio and the Hill Country towns were in bad shape, since they flooded earlier in the year under less rain.

If Fiesta is flooding, that's pretty bad. :(

28. Arlington was flooding it's ass off.
I know. I've got the buckets in my bedroom to prove it. I couldn't go to work as I had to dump the darn thing every 20 minutes because it was filling so fast. The roofer has been called and I pray it gets fixed by Friday. Maybe the world doesn't care but I do.
