Pet Peeve: Long quotes in italics
Edited on Tue Aug-31-10 02:37 PM by tk2kewl
It is much easier to read this:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse libero est, euismod faucibus porttitor id, malesuada at tellus.

than this:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse libero est, euismod faucibus porttitor id, malesuada at tellus.

4. Above the reply window, use the HTML lookup table
Blockquotes
Create a styled,
indented blockquote
(useful for posting
excerpts from articles)
<div class="excerpt">Text</div>

But instead of using <> around the div definition, use square brackets online just below the Backspace key.

9. fixed...
My problem is that the italics are too hard on my eyes, so I usually don't read long italic quotes.

16. I hear you.
It is easier on the eyes. Here's a quick tip I use for overly tiny text. Hold down the control key on your keyboard and then scroll the center button on your mouse (assuming it has one) up. For every click, it should increase the size of the text on your browser by one level. I've found it's a lot quicker than a lot of other methods.

24. I did, but I can't tell if it's the right size.
I guess that's a question of my memory and not of browser technique, eh?

25. The zoom level is in the bottom right-hand corner of your browser window
if you're using Internet Explorer. Just roll the button on your mouse to 100% for normal page display.

28. LOL, well which browser are you using?
If you're using Firefox, someone else will have to help you because I don't see any indicator on there.

Sorry I wasn't much help... :(

Edited on Tue Aug-31-10 02:40 PM by Sheepshank
it's so much easier to type < i> < /i>...than the codes for indented boxed quotes.

One day we will get one of those thingys where we simply highlight the area was want as quotes, bold, italics or colored font and click on the icon that invokes that command. one day.
