It keeps growing
yesterday CBS News estimated the Beckapaloozer crowd at 87,000. This morning Brian Williams said the crowd was somewhere north of 300,000. Then about 3 minutes later Joe Scarborough said over 500,000.

1. What's a few hundred thousand zombies more or less?
The real question is, did any people who are capable of thinking actually show up?

5. My question is were is our demonstration to take back our
country from the corporations? Oh boy Grover Norquist just said (we) voted for a President that was going to make change and we got more of the same. I didn't know Grover Norquist was an Obama supporter. He also said he was a member of one of the largest civil rights organizations (the NRA)!
There is absolutely nothing the NRA can blame Obama for.

2. The lower estimates are likely correct -- c. 85,000.
Beck was pimping this event for some time and still couldn't break 100,000. Some of Obama's campaign rallies drew far more than that, and as a spontaneous turn-out with a minimum of hype.

And then there is the pervading issue that Glenn Beck doesn't know what he's talking about in the first place.

7. The skids in my underwear are smarter than the beckerhead
I shit a bigger man than he'll ever be.

I know I've said this before and I'll say it again. Of the two pictures I've seen of beck senior I had him in one of my companies that I pushed through boot camp in the navy back in early '68. Doing the 14 count manual the poor fella brought the piece down square on top of his head and melted there on the tarmac. I didn't know bones in the legs could bend until I seen this dickhead drop and trust me when I say this his legs bent like he was a cartoon character. Wobbled all the way down like a balloon that suddenly lost all its air. If in fact that was becks father then he, glen beck, came about his stupid ignorance honestly.

10. I felt sorry for him for a fleeting moment
as that feeling didn't last long as he had a head on him like a bastard rat. Let me put it this way. I pushed 6 companies of 62 men through boot camp following my boot camp training and he stood out as the most stupid, ignorant one of the bunch. Never did get through to the dickhead, finally just gave up. I had each company for two weeks teaching them the basics of navy life, how to march, proper way to wear the uniform and present oneself things like how to make a bed, fold their uniform, handle the piece, (weapon), in navy lingo its called a piece. Things of that nature.

6. I saw a couple buses coming from the event yesterday
Edited on Mon Aug-30-10 07:03 AM by doc03
on I 70, they had custom paint jobs. That has to cost big bucks to charter buses and apply a poster from end to end. When we were on strike we had to chip in to charter a bus to Pittsburgh to protest at PNC bank for bankrolling the strike.

9. They have to talk about the size of the crowd because
There's not anything else to talk about. Evidently it was some sort of pathetic sermon Beck wants to claim was delivered by God Hisself. and Palin? I didn't hear anything at all about her except that MLK Jr would be proud. When Beck and Palin want to keep it 'honorable' they're boring as hell.
