I met my first Glen Beck fan

I found out in an odd way that a co-worker listens to Glen Beck.
She told me she needed to go to court in Westchester due to some debt issues she was having while unemployed.
It turns out that one of Beck's advertisers "helps" people get rid of credit card debt.
Well, long story short, this company that advertises on Beck's show took my co-workers money, and did nothing to help her with her financial situation.
Now she is in court, with her debtors, and this company that advertises on the Beck show.

I told her I love politics, but that I thought Beck was anti-christian (remember his "don't let your church talk about social justice shtick?) and that I could never listen to an anti-christian radio program.

Beck's fans impress me as being easily confused, and when they get confused they get mad. Beck fan smash!

I hope your co-worker is able to stick it to the vultures at the debt assistance place while securing a little breathing room with her creditors. It's been a long time since I worked bankruptcy, and these debt consolidation sharpers were in their infancy then, but they were born scum and have only gotten older since then.

7. 'Debt Solutions' agencies specialize in ripping people off.

There are very few legitimate ones. They take people's money, earn interest off of it, and put off settling their client's debts for so long that the client's credit only gets worse.

I hope you can gently persuade your co-worker to abandon the sobbing sap.
