72 bodies found at ranch in Mexico
MONTERREY, Mexico — Mexican marines found 72 corpses at a remote ranch near the U.S. border, the Mexican navy said on Wednesday, the biggest single discovery of its kind in Mexico's increasingly bloody drug war.

The marines came across the bodies of 58 men and 14 women, thought to be migrant workers, on Tuesday at the ranch in Tamaulipas state, 90 miles from the Texas border, after a series of firefights with drug gang members.

Three gunmen and a marine died in the firefights, while another suspected gang member was arrested and several others escaped, a navy spokesman said.

"The bodies were dumped about the ranch and were not buried. We are still investigating how long they had been there," the spokesman said. He declined to give more details. ............(more)

3. The price of greed
Paid by those poor men and women!

When will the price be paid by the wicked instead of the victims?

2. Drug war? How about a coyote who took the money and killed everyone
which, of course, cuts expenses

It is a possibility

4. i am more appalled by the comment boards on yahoo
amerikkka is definately becoming germany 1930's

damn, so much hate, tons of genocidal eliminationist remarks on the yahoo and aol boards

Anyhow this is all the result of countries operating without a safety net, thus creating human despair

Instead of protecting our boarders from this mess, we need to protect our social safety net.

By providing the general public with guarateed basic necessities, it'll decrease the desparate situation where desparate people become willing to kill for chum change
