Former Vice President Dick Cheney has postponed a scheduled Sept. 18 speech at the Atlantic City Hilton to continue recovering from a June heart attack.

The announcement was made Tuesday morning, and a later date was not immediately announced. A spokeswoman for the Atlantic City Hilton called the decision, "mutual, to allow ample time to heal."
