So I was making my reservations to go visit parents
and I was wondering, why the hell are tickets so damn expensive? Well, it is the 200 anniversary of the Mexican Independence, and 100 of the Revolution. So rates are like if they were... high season.

So if you are thinking of an educational and historical trip, this September, Mexico is calling. Yes I was going to fly on the 16 and then went, dummy me... get there at least two days before. The 15 will be something to behold, as well as the celebrations on the 16th... but plane tickets are just EXPENSIVE!

Thankfully I don't have to do ... hotel or car... at least.

2. Yes, and Dolores in the state of Hidalgo is going to be just
insane.

Parents are quite elderly, or I'd take off...

So I will be content with some tv.

3. Forget the tickets. It's the overweight baggage that will get ya.

6. We have a local tradition of bringing back gifts for the family and everyone in the office
That's why we all have to buy those travel scales from CVS lol. One of my friends says he never weighs his bag but just tips very well at the luggage check in. $95 dollars is a total rip off.

7. Well I have no gifts to bring to the office
no office.

I will bring something small for hubby.

Will be slightly more loaded on the way down, bringing some clothes for a child, and clothes for the two ladies who are at home... and I am considering an educational toy for that child. If he were older, I'd bring him a nettie. I know mom cannot afford one for him for school.
