Oh lord, just got a robo call from Meg Whitman
heard the name, hung up... not interested... but that tells me that yes she is trying HARD to buy that office.

Oh and buy is the correct name. Here is a question though... what is it with all these politicos buying high political office? 23 million for a job that pays oh 200K a year? Something stinks...

2. A question I'd ask a Whitman supporter
So, Ms. Whitman made a pile of money running eBay, isn't that right? Being the CEO of a major corporation is a tough job, isn't it? And now she wants to be, in effect, CEO of California. Except, of course, running a state isn't quite the same as running a company, is it? I wonder how Ms. Whitman would have treated Jerry Brown if he suddenly announced that he wanted to take over eBay as its CEO? I'll bet she would have said that being governor of California in no way qualified him to run a large corporation. Does the reverse hold true?

3. Surprisingly even our resident RW curmudgeon

at the coffee shop has not declared himself for Meg. Now he was quite the vocal fan of grand pa and Palin...

So I am starting to suspect that some of her support is not quite that deep. She is also within statistical error and Brown has not yet spent much.
