Rock band drummer rushed to ER. No health insurance
Touring rock band Anew Revolution had a scare on the road last Friday when their drummer, Rob Urbani, experienced severe stomach cramps, went into shock and had to be rushed to an emergency room. To make things worse, Urbani doesn’t have health insurance, nor does the rest of the band except for Salvaggio. 'We can afford van, trailer and equipment insurance but the price of health insurance is ridiculous. We can insure material things but it’s financially impossible to afford the most important thing: yourself,' Salvaggio said.

1. Happens to musicians all too often
Hubby is a musician. We have been too far too many fundraisers to help uninsured musicians. The Little Feat drummer died last week. He was uninsured.

A tragedy of our society.

2. All too common. Artists in general tend to be uninsured. Sucks.

5. Most people who live outside the "approved" Corporate Structure...
..are generally uninsured.
THAT is just one of the ways TPTB ensure a large population of Good submissive Corporate Citizens.

6. I know all about it. I was there for a long long time. Fortunately,
it never bit me (I didn't need care and not get it.)
