I started this channel two months ago to begin collecting data for a multimedia and film project on fascism, resistance, pacifism, rescue and ighteous deeds of rescue during the Shoah and ALL the holocausts that have happened and which are happening today.
The parallels of Nazi Germany to today's events are undeniable : from the Reichstag fire and suspension of civil rights in Germany to the massive media propaganda machine which was financed by wall street and helped by corporate america (IBM, GM, Ford, Standard Oil, US Steel, etc) and banks run by human beings (I use this term advisedly) like the Bushes, Rockefellers, Walkers, Harrimans, Morgans, Dulleses etc.
This has been a dangerous undertaking to some degree and me and my kids and spouse recieved death threats (especially back during the 2000 election when i was working with John Buchanan and John Loftus to get these stories publicised of how the Bushes built their dynasty from the gold and lives destroyed and looted during the Shoah.
I have been halfway around the world doing exhibits and speaking out on these issues mostly in obscure synagogues (but some big ones too, I met larry King in Los Angeles at his congregation where i spoke on this) as well as awesome venues like the UN in NYC, in Jeruslalem at Yad vashem, in the US Senate and at the Museum of Tolerance for the Simon Weisenthal Center in Los Angeles.
When I was a college kid i got death threats and was threatened with federal prosecution for exposing dirty CIA and Cointelpro ops in the US and in Africa and around the world. I was checking under my car hood in the morning and my fiance made me hang it up and move to NYC where i could hide out for awhile (I acted and wrote and smoked weed in Union Square with the rastas)
The reason I state all this is that DU has given me the courage and support to crawl out of the woodwork a little more and into the media world and try to fearlessly tell these stories and take on these fascists.
History MUST be told and MUST be witnessed. The actual witnesses and heroes and refugees and victims are dying off and I am raising funds to try to get out to do interviews with some of the more important ones (including Reb Zalman 0- whose video i posted earlier today) who was rescued when he was 17 in France and came to America where he is a Jewish leader but also the wisdom chair at the naropa institute and dropped acid with Timothy Leary and/or Ram Dass.He's a cool man and his is a cool story and he was THERE when the madness was going on.

It applies to what is happening now, to us, to America (the Americas) to the world.
Abu Ghraid, Guantanamo, Bagram and even arguably Gaza are concentration camps. Murder and mass murder and civilian casualties and torture are STILL, just as with the Nazis, the main tool of authoritarian government and corporate fascism and we have to FIGHT that power with every breath and every fibre of our being. The world will not survive if we fail.

THANK YOU DU, for helping me to break 1000 views in just a little over a week. I needed you. all of you. even my detractors who went to look to see what I was up to and posted derogatory stuff on my youtube comments board. They helped!
I know that this is an effort to get folks to actually LOOK at my work and support it, and it is a little embarassing. But it is a necessary embarassment, like our blogs here or our petty battle with disruptors and our defense of our sometimes asinine ideas posted in a late night mist of tipsiness or rancor.

And friend me and subscribe because SOON, I will be uploading my own work. I plan to interview Reb Zalman soon and many many others from Holocaust scholars to survivors and the actual survivors of the camps and ghettoes and the underground operation (although they are almost all dead now). I have been preparing this project for years and done much to get it heard and seen.
Thank you DU for helping and being me so i can float my stuff here anonymously so that when i "come out" I will have lots of folks who can watch my back so I do not get Wellstoned or Hatfielded (which the fascists,as we well know, and as Andy Stephenson, my good friend and colleague, learned the hard way WILL indeed throw you ut a window or wreck your plane if you piss them off enough. I plan to.
