Despite the bickering I often see in GD and GDP (I wish there was less of it), I'm here most everyday reading the posts. Lots of good info and interesting views on the issues! Late Breaking News is my primary source of news and I enjoy the science, environment, guns and Michigan forums. When I want laughs and just have a good time, the Lounge is the place to be.

Edit: I just wanted to say the above 'cause I read comments about how DU isn't what is used to be. I'm not an old timer so I don't know what is used to be but I do know this forum is the best I've ever been a member of.

1. This is a great place to get the news. I breeze through the newspaper these days knowing
I will be well informed on the topics that are important to me since I'll log onto the DU.
