This new Pat Tillman movie has the potential to be a back breaking straw
I'm not sure it actually will, but if we had an actual working media who did their actual jobs, it just might.

Smirkonish, sitting in for Matthews, just had on the guy who put the new movie together. I admit to knowing the general story line, but little of the details. The movie absolutely ties the coverup to General Stanley "Yalie" McChrystal. Once that tie gets made, it would stretch credulity to think it went no higher.

Will the diseased, pulseless DICK get tied to it?

Who knows? But this is a movie I WANT to see. I'm feeling pissed off all over again.

3. It's already in the can. Of course, it was given an "R" rating, so ...
many who could learn from it will be denied that opportunity.

27. I and several other teachers I know would like to show it to our classes.
The "R" rating negates that possibility.

2. I saw the trailer. I think it's out. I didn't see the date. If you are ticked off
now, don't see it. It will outrage you.
One of the most sickening jobs of dirty back stabbing that could be imagined.
But the same as the Valerie Plame Wilson case.
Search for the trailer and release date. You will find it.

26. Not Phoenix
Odd considering he played ball in college and the pros in Tempe which is adjacent to Phoenix.

Can't wait to see it when I can.

8. Golly Wally, the boo birds hate Tillman?
Baby oh baby, one more reason I can't wait for this one to bust loose.

K & R because people need to know what happened.

Stinky, did the discussion mention Jessica Lynch? Heard that little 'rescue' scam mentioned in conjunction with the Tillman movie but I was busy and didn't catch it all.

17. I just came in from listening to a segment about it on
The Young Turks, and the segment was rather detailed. I feel bad for Pat, of course, but IIRC, his mother, Mary, never bought what they were told about his death.

The radio segment mentioned that McChrystal, higher ups, and even Rummy knew about the deceit, but continued the coverup. I REALLY despise Rummy, evil bastard, same as Evil Unka Dick and others. :puke:

19. I plan to
That segment tonight still has me pissed off.

Tillman's family is worthy of the respect, admiration, and praise of our entire country. HOw easy would it have been to accept the false Silver Star and the "hero" legend and move on. They wouldn't. They were tenacious and unrelenting. Truth to power.

It is no mystery whatever where Pat Tillman got his personal character.

And, out of that whole mess in Iraq and Afghanistan, I find the Tillman and Lynch families shining examples of honor and heart.

21. Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld tried to cover up a murder.
That is a crime. Besides being responsible for torture, rape and deaths of civilians they cover up murder and nobody gives a good damn!
If these despicable pieces of feces are not prosecuted we do not deserve to be considered a part of humanity. We have devolved into animals. We let powerful animals murder our on kind. We then cower at their countenance and lick their hind ends.

Pat Tillman was murdered and it was covered up. Any questions?
